Senior sessions for the class of 2023 have been in full swing since before school started and this session had me using various lighting techniques during the whole session!  I am in love with Amber's 'white room' she wanted for her shoot!  It was a scorching hot day in August, but Amber pushed through it and we are rewarded with a stunning gallery!  We began our shoot in downtown Victoria.  I normally shoot with my lights because thats how I typically like my images to look, but I decided the white room warranted natural light.  There was already plenty of light streaming in from the windows so keeping things soft was the feel I was going for and making sure she had plenty of natural light on her face.  Then we ventured on to other various locations where I went back to using strobes.  At the very end a lightening storm began lighting up the sky, thank goodness we were literally on the very last shot so we were able to keep things safe and end on an awesome shot at Amber's stadium!  I love it when its hard for the family to narrow down and pick out their images at the ordering session, because that means the love every image and thats always my goal - to create a fun process, have each senior feel confident and leave the shoot feeling amazing!  Congrats to this Industrial senior on her graduation in a few months!  The time is already flying by!
