Senior Session Spotlight: From Firehouse to Fairway
Coy- Ganado Class of 2025
This senior session was a unique and meaningful experience, capturing the dedication and personality of a young volunteer fireman who also has a passion for hunting and golfing.
We started this session at the firehouse, where Coy suited up in his gear, standing proudly beside the fire trucks that represent his commitment to serving the community. We love to set the lighting based on the scene in front of us and we use the light to help mold and sculpt the story. The firehouse had an atmosphere of power and we wanted to showcase that. Coy's Dad, turned on the fire trucks to get lights flashing and we responded with flashing our own lights back to capture the glow. We let the weight of Coy's gear tell the story of responsibility beyond his years. Coy's Dad jumped in for a shot of them together- service running deep in this family.
After capturing the heart of his firefighting journey, we transitioned into casual portraits that reflected his easy-going side. Coy is also an avid golfer, so we made sure to highlight the passion, incorporating golf elements into his session. Hunting is also another activity that Coy enjoys. He changed into his camo top for some shots with both his firearm and bow.
This is the second session I've shot for the Smith family, I shot Kate's session a few years back and I am always honored when I have returning clients!
This session is a reminder that senior photos are more than just pictures- they're a reflection of who these young adults are in this moment, celebrating their passions and the paths they're paving for the future!
We are still shooting strong in April and look forward to finishing strong for the Class of 2025! Class of 2026, get ready- you're up on deck!
Thank you Smith family for having me capture another senior session for your family!
