Max's 8th Grade Experience Session
One of my favorite things about the 8th Grade Experience session is capturing who a student is right now, before high school begins and everything starts to change. For Max, that meant blending what he loves - Gaming- with some casuals .
We started in studio with some dramatic gaming-inspired lighting. I used a colored gel to ad a futuristic feel that matched his passion for gaming. Max has always been a great poser for me, ever since we shot his kindergarten pictures on a vintage wooden desk, some apples and pencils! The entire Majewski family has pretty much been with me since my early days and I can't say enough about how grateful I am to them for all their support and even lending a kid or two out when I needed a 'models' for a new idea I had brewing! Max wasn't different this time... once again he brought the mood and his easy-going personality. This guy just goes with the flow with whatever you ask of him. Max definitely brought the personality for this session and gave us images straight out of HIS world!
I love how we ended the shoot with the family's Rivian in the background, a vehicle Max already has his eye on and in a couple of years he'll be behind the wheel.
These sessions are all about preserving this moment in time, the interests, the hobbies and personality that make each student unique before they begin the next chapter. Max's session was the perfect combination of where he is now and the exciting road ahead.
Thank you Majewski family!!!
