It's so extra special to photograph seniors on family land, it tells their story in the most authentic way!  Tessa's session took us all over their property, from a dreamy canopy of vines, to a vintage jeep in broad sunlight, to her striking red dress in the cattle chutes and vines.  We wrapped up the evening in a soft floral dress among palmettos as the sun filtered through the trees, then we finished along the river bank with the most beautiful Texas sunset!

We were chauffeured from spot to spot on their ate (gear and all and no matter where we stopped we created images wit intentional lighting and creative angles.  Walking onto properties that I have never visited before and finding locations that have the potential to deliver unique images is always a little nerve-wracking, but its also a fun journey to hang out with the family, listen to the stories of where Tessa played as a child on the land and river banks.

These moments deserve to live beyond your cell phone, so we had the best time watching Tessa pick the images for her album, choose her album cover and large wall art!

Tessa also loves photography and has been shooting local football games and a few other sessions here and there. I truly enjoyed chatting with her about her love of photography and I hope she continues to do what she loves!
